Before picking your winner, it helps to understand how a fight card is organized. You'll know which fights matter most and how long they can last.
Card order
- Main event: the most important fight, the last one of the night.
- Co-main event: second in importance, right before the main event.
- Main card and prelims: the rest of the fights, from lower to higher exposure.
Three or five rounds
In major promotions rounds usually last five minutes. Most fights are scheduled for three rounds; title fights and, usually, main events go five. More rounds means cardio and pace matter more.
Weight classes
Fighters compete in weight classes, from strawweight to heavyweight. When a fight is agreed outside those limits it is called a catchweight bout.
Start times
On La Jaula Props times are automatically converted to your time zone. Remember that voting for each fight closes before it starts.
