The event
UFC 333 takes place on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at Etihad Arena on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, in front of a sold-out crowd. It headlines Abu Dhabi Showdown Week (October 19–25), a week of free fan events, open workouts, athlete meet-and-greets and ceremonial weigh-ins.
The card features two title fights: Alexander Volkanovski defends the featherweight belt against unbeaten Movsar Evloev, and Petr Yan puts the bantamweight title on the line against Merab Dvalishvili in their third meeting.
Abu Dhabi and the UFC
Abu Dhabi has hosted UFC events since 2010 and has become one of the promotion's regular international destinations. UFC 333 is the company's 24th event in the city and the 11th numbered event held there.
The venue
Etihad Arena opened in January 2021 on Yas Island. It is an indoor arena with a capacity of 18,000, designed by the architecture firm HOK.
It has hosted several landmark UFC nights:
- UFC 257: Poirier vs. McGregor 2 (January 2021)
- UFC 280: Oliveira vs. Makhachev (October 2022)
- UFC 294: Makhachev vs. Volkanovski 2 (October 2023)
- UFC 308: Topuria vs. Holloway (October 2024)
- UFC 321: Aspinall vs. Gane (2025)
